Foodservice Applications

Z Trim’s unique food formulation properties enable it to blend easily into most recipes. It can replace portions of added fats such as oils, butters, margarine, egg and some dairy solids. As such, Z Trim essentially reduces or eliminates trans and saturated fats, gums and starches by replacing them with taste neutral, non-caloric, dietary ingredient.


Use Z Trim as an emulsifier, fat replacer, texture enhancer or extender in:

  • Baked Goods: biscuits, cookies, muffins, pizza crust, pie crust, tortilla, pancakes, batters, fillings and more
  • Dairy Products: cream cheese, ricotta cheese, cream, margarine, cheese sauce and more
  • Wet Emulsions: gravies, sauces, soups, dips, salad dressings, peanut butter, and more
  • Meats: meat patties, meatballs, marinades, coatings and more
  • Beverages: thickening supplement to juice and non-carbonated beverages and drink powders
